Before breakfast on the morning of this image, I walked the streets of “downtown” Waterton, AB, trying to find a perspective I liked for the Prince of Wales Hotel. It was disappointing. Later, coming back into town from Cameron Lake, we rounded a curve that put us essentially at the same elevation as the hotel. Granted, it may have been better if I was there with sunset light on this west face, but you take what you can get.
